Pfizer—Independent Medical Education Grant: Addressing Knowledge Gaps in Growth Hormone Deficiency

Through this RFP, it is Pfizer’s intent to support educational programs for pediatric endocrinologists. 

Projects that will be considered for Pfizer support will focus on: 

  • Improving the understanding of the safety and efficacy of growth hormone (GH) administered once-daily in managing patients with short stature. 
  • Improving the understanding of the relationship between adherence and treatment outcomes. 
  • Increasing awareness of the emerging science of long-acting growth hormone to improve the understanding of their efficacy, safety, and potential clinical applicability. 

Deadline: September 30  

Dollar Amount: The estimated total available budget related to this RFP is $300,000. Pfizer anticipates awarding 1-2 grants. 

Eligibility: The following may apply: medical, dental, nursing, allied health, and/or pharmacy professional schools; healthcare institutions (both large and small); professional associations and medical societies; medical education companies; and other entities with a mission related to healthcare professional education and/or healthcare improvement.
